Psychologist (Provisional)
Rebekah is a warm and approachable psychologist with a passion for supporting clients across the lifespan. She has a particular interest in the perinatal period, early childhood, and adolescence, and is dedicated to helping children, young people, and families thrive.
Rebekah completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and Master of Professional Psychology at Macquarie University. She strives to create a safe, calm, and collaborative therapeutic space, using play-based approaches to make sessions engaging for younger clients.
She draws on evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), schema-informed approaches, and trauma-focused interventions. Rebekah values assessment as a way to understand each individual’s strengths and challenges, ensuring support is tailored and effective.
Outside of work, Rebekah enjoys watercolour painting, crocheting with an audiobook, camping, attending her children’s soccer games, and spending time with her two cats and collection of tropical fish. She is also an avid Doctor Who fan, especially of the Tenth Doctor.
